We understand that when your electric mobility equipment starts to underperform, it can be frustrating. Over time, you may notice that your power chair batteries are not holding a charge as long as they used to, or your equipment suddenly struggles with speed, inclines, or stops altogether. Most SLA style mobility batteries last about 12-18 months with daily use; lithium batteries last longer, but still degrade. If you think it’s time to replace your battery or charger, our team at Mobility City is here to help. We will test both the battery and the charger and quickly get you a replacement to minimize downtime and keep you independent.
We need to recognize the early signs of declining battery performance. We have seen many instances where power chair batteries start to falter in performance, impacting overall mobility. Look for these common indicators:

Honest, honest, honest. Those are the only words I can use to describe the owners. I currently have a rather large upright walker because I am a rather larger framed guy. My current walker is destroying the walls because it is wide and I am not as careful as I could/ should be. Based on excellent reviews I came here to explore my options for a smaller sized upright. Ultimately I was told that the smaller one would not be an option for me, as my current one is safer for ME b cause of weight capacity. So, if you need anything mobility wise, I would urge you to patronize this shop. Should my body size change, this is the place I would go. You should as well!
I was in the store today, first to be met with a salesperson who was cheerful and anxious to help. My husband bought a walker and wasn’t 100% happy with it. The owner came out and said he would do anything at all to help. He was the most pleasant warm and friendly man. He refunded our money without hesitation or question. The customer service was beyond compare. The other businesses owners should learn from this family owned business how to treat people. I would highly recommend Mobility City for any and all your handicapped needs. They were BEYOND wonderful to do business with. I gave them 5 stars but they deserve at least 10!
My husband had 2 walkers that were not working well. The brakes didn’t do their job, the handles were loose and the walkers didn’t feel safe. We took them to Mobility City to see if they could be fixed. He helped us and said not to worry, he could fix them. He told us that they didn’t need replacing yet. We were very impressed with his honesty! He made them work like new and then wouldn’t even let us pay. We will definitely go back when he needs any devices!
