We understand that caregivers face significant challenges when supporting a loved one experiencing progressive mobility decline. In many cases, full-time care or an assisted living transition becomes necessary, and families encounter issues such as caregiver burnout, physical and emotional strain, and the need for safe patient handling during transfers. The safe patient handling process is essential to reduce injury risk and maximize patient comfort, ensuring that both the caregiver and the individual receiving care remain protected and supported.
At Mobility City, we help families manage these increasing demands by offering essential mobility and comfort-focused equipment. Our advanced hospital beds, alternating pressure mattresses, and transport wheelchairs are designed with safe patient handling in mind, reducing physical strain and promoting overall safety. We also provide home-safety enhancements including:
Our commitment extends beyond just providing equipment. We offer hands-on training for safe patient handling, long-term service contracts to ensure devices remain in excellent working condition, and equipment trade-in or upgrade programs so families can transition to more suitable mobility solutions as needs evolve. Our showrooms allow caregivers in areas such as Lake Forest, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo to explore mobility devices in person, and we offer short-term rental options that enable testing equipment before making a long-term commitment.
Went in to look for a hospital bed for my handicapped son. Met Max, a bright and friendly young man who walked us through all there was about the bed. In the end we decided to rent an electric wheelchair to try at home. Max was more than accommodating and knowledgeable. We drove home with our rented wheelchair. If all goes well, we plan to purchased the chair. Mobility City is one of the best mobility stores we’ve ever been at.
Mobility City is a "dream" come true. After searching and having no success for months in person and online, I found exactly what I needed. Great selection. Ability to try out products in person. Everyone was patient and skilled. Max Frankel, especially, is knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and warm and friendly. He took over an hour with me to find the perfect fit for what I needed. All gold stars!
We had an excellent customer service experience with Max. We appreciate it his knowledge and willing to help. My chair needed a tuneup, so I called mobility city because we had such a great experience with Max in the past. Today a gentleman named Roland came to my home and did a tuneup on my chair. Roland was great! Very nice gentleman, very knowledgeable and impressively efficient at his job. I will continue to refer my friends to mobility city. Another excellent experience with mobility Citi, thank you Roland, I appreciate you sir.
