We understand that caring for someone experiencing progressive mobility decline brings many challenges. Families and caregivers often face caregiver burnout, the physical and emotional strain of providing daily support, and worries about increasing injury risks. When full-time care or an assisted living transition becomes necessary, concerns about safe patient handling arise alongside the need for reliable transfer methods and strategies to maximize patient comfort. These challenges are common in Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice and the surrounding areas, where the demands on caregivers continue to grow.
To address these challenges, we at Mobility City of Sarasota offer essential mobility equipment designed for safe patient handling. Our range of devices promotes safety, reduces physical strain, and enhances comfort for both caregivers and their loved ones. We provide:
Each piece of equipment is designed with safe patient handling in mind, ensuring a reliable solution for families managing increasing care needs.
We support caregivers directly through hands-on training with our mobility devices, ensuring proper use and safe patient handling during daily routines. Our long-term service contracts maintain the equipment in excellent working condition, while our trade-in and upgrade programs allow families to transition easily to solutions that best fit evolving needs. In our showrooms, which are available in Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, caregivers have the opportunity to explore different mobility options, and we also offer short-term rental choices so that you can test equipment before making a long-term commitment.
We are proud to offer a White Glove delivery service that provides the reassurance and convenience caregivers need. Our team personally delivers mobility equipment into the home, sets it up, and offers guided training to boost caregiver confidence in safe patient handling. We also value our partnership with the VA, ensuring that Veterans receive the mobility solutions they deserve. Our mission is to keep people moving so they can remain independent, healthy, and happy while we continue to support both the individual and the caregivers responsible for their daily care.

We rented a motorized recliner for a month since I was having shoulder surgery and couldn't use my left arm. The chair worked great and we were pleased with John's delivery and set up then his prompt arrival and removal of the chair at the end of the month. If you need any type of mobility item, I would recommend Mobility City. They were courteous, efficient and informative.
A Heartfelt Thank you to John and Charla at Mobility City for fantastic service that exceeded our expectations! Their knowledge, service, delivery, setup and pickup exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this company and their services to anyone needing additional assistance or mobility items while on vacation in the Sarasota area…or residing in the Sarasota area full time.
We have been renting equipment from Mobility City for the last few years for our vacations. The gentlemen have been so very accommodating and kind. This year is certainly no different. John has been assisting us this year and he has been so informative, helpful and understanding. He really listens to what we need and makes sure we are taken care of. Thank you, Mobility City, for being there for us!
