We understand that supporting a loved one with progressive mobility decline presents significant challenges. Families and caregivers often face caregiver burnout, the physical and emotional strain of providing daily support, and the constant worry over finding safe and reliable transfer methods. In our work at Mobility City, we emphasize safe patient handling to reduce injury risks and maximize patient comfort, ensuring both individuals and their caregivers receive the attention they deserve.
The journey of managing mobility decline can be overwhelming. Many families transition from full-time care to assisted living with mixed emotions, feeling the pressure of ensuring every transfer is safe. We acknowledge that the responsibility of balancing physical safety with emotional support is immense. As caregivers struggle with daily routines, safe patient handling practices remain a cornerstone in preventing injuries and reducing stress.
At Mobility City, we help caregivers manage these increasing demands by offering a range of essential mobility and comfort-focused equipment. Our selection includes:
These innovations have been carefully chosen to support safer transfers, reducing the risk of accidents while unquestionably maintaining comfort for everyone involved.
We also offer services that directly support caregivers. Our comprehensive approach includes hands-on equipment training, long-term service contracts to keep your devices in excellent condition, and trade-in or upgrade programs that allow families to transition to the most suitable mobility solutions as needs evolve. Additionally, our showrooms allow caregivers in Colma, Sunnyvale, and San Francisco to explore mobility devices in person and take advantage of short-term rental options to test equipment before committing long-term.
Our White Glove delivery service reaffirms our commitment to safe patient handling. We personally deliver equipment to your home, set it up, and provide guided training so that caregivers feel fully supported and confident in day-to-day use. We are also proud to partner with the VA, ensuring that Veterans receive the mobility solutions they deserve. Honest, honest, honest. Those are the only words I can use to describe the owners. I currently have a rather large upright walker because I am a rather larger framed guy. My current walker is destroying the walls because it is wide and I am not as careful as I could/ should be. Based on excellent reviews I came here to explore my options for a smaller sized upright. Ultimately I was told that the smaller one would not be an option for me, as my current one is safer for ME b cause of weight capacity. So, if you need anything mobility wise, I would urge you to patronize this shop. Should my body size change, this is the place I would go. You should as well!
I was in the store today, first to be met with a salesperson who was cheerful and anxious to help. My husband bought a walker and wasn’t 100% happy with it. The owner came out and said he would do anything at all to help. He was the most pleasant warm and friendly man. He refunded our money without hesitation or question. The customer service was beyond compare. The other businesses owners should learn from this family owned business how to treat people. I would highly recommend Mobility City for any and all your handicapped needs. They were BEYOND wonderful to do business with. I gave them 5 stars but they deserve at least 10!
My husband had 2 walkers that were not working well. The brakes didn’t do their job, the handles were loose and the walkers didn’t feel safe. We took them to Mobility City to see if they could be fixed. He helped us and said not to worry, he could fix them. He told us that they didn’t need replacing yet. We were very impressed with his honesty! He made them work like new and then wouldn’t even let us pay We will definitely go back when he needs any devices!
