VA healthcare benefits may cover the cost of both the mobility equipment and its repair services. Your assistive devices, including wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, hospital beds, and other VA-covered mobility services, can be repaired without out-of-pocket expenses when authorized by the VA. We work closely with VA case managers to ensure every piece of equipment meets the specific needs of each Veteran.
How Your VA Benefits Work With Us
- Getting Evaluated by the VA: Start by speaking with your VA healthcare provider. If mobility equipment or repair services are deemed medically necessary, they will process your request.
- VA Approving and Assigning Mobility City: Once approved, the VA may assign your case to Mobility City, one of its trusted vendors.
- Mobility City Contacting You: Our team will reach out to schedule an appointment at your home, or your preferred location, within 48 hours.
- Service Provided and VA Coverage: All approved services are billed directly to the VA, so there is no cost to you.
