We understand the importance of dependable mobility equipment, especially when our power chair batteries start to underperform. You may notice that over time your electric mobility equipment isn’t holding a charge as long as it used to, suddenly struggles with speed or inclines, or even stops altogether. Most SLA style mobility batteries last about 12-18 months with daily use; lithium batteries last longer, but still degrade. If you think it’s time to replace your battery or charger, our team at Mobility City is here to help. We test both the battery and the charger, and can quickly provide a replacement to minimize downtime and keep you independent.
When your power chair batteries begin to falter, you deserve a prompt and reliable evaluation. Our technicians assess the condition of your equipment by checking both the charger and battery. Common issues include:
By identifying these issues early, we can ensure that your mobility equipment continues to perform efficiently.
Your mobility matters, which is why we service all mobility equipment regardless of where it was purchased. Our technicians are trained and certified to work with all major brands, and our strong partnership with leading manufacturers enables us to leverage warranties to reduce repair and battery replacement costs. We begin by testing the charger‚ a common culprit‚ before performing a full diagnosis of your battery. If you can’t make it to one of our stores, we are proud to say that we serve Lake Forest, Laguna Niguel, and Aliso Viejo, along with the surrounding areas, with convenient same-day on-site repairs.
Some complex repairs may take longer than a day or require specialized equipment and parts. We understand that your mobility equipment is your lifeline, and downtime isn’t an option. That’s why we offer short-term rentals that include delivery, set-up, and training. Whether we complete the repair on-site or off-site, we always fully clean your equipment before returning it to you. Our experts are dedicated to providing the reliable service you deserve to help extend your equipment’s lifespan and improve your mobility. We are also proud partners with the VA, ensuring that Veterans receive the mobility solutions they deserve. Call your local Mobility City or come into the showroom.
Went in to look for a hospital bed for my handicapped son. Met Max, a bright and friendly young man who walked us through all there was about the bed. In the end we decided to rent an electric wheelchair to try at home. Max was more than accommodating and knowledgeable. We drove home with our rented wheelchair. If all goes well, we plan to purchased the chair. Mobility City is one of the best mobility stores we’ve ever been at.
Mobility City is a "dream" come true. After searching and having no success for months in person and online, I found exactly what I needed. Great selection. Ability to try out products in person. Everyone was patient and skilled. Max Frankel, especially, is knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and warm and friendly. He took over an hour with me to find the perfect fit for what I needed. All gold stars!
We had an excellent customer service experience with Max. We appreciate it his knowledge and willing to help. My chair needed a tuneup, so I called mobility city because we had such a great experience with Max in the past. Today a gentleman named Roland came to my home and did a tuneup on my chair. Roland was great! Very nice gentleman, very knowledgeable and impressively efficient at his job. I will continue to refer my friends to mobility city. Another excellent experience with mobility Citi, thank you Roland, I appreciate you sir.
