We understand that over time your electric mobility equipment may not hold a charge as long as it used to, suddenly struggles with speed or inclines, or stops altogether. Most SLA style mobility batteries last about 12-18 months with daily use, while lithium batteries have a longer life but still degrade. If you think it is time to replace your battery or charger, our team at Mobility City is here to help. Our commitment to reliable service ensures that your power chair batteries are thoroughly tested and replaced quickly if necessary, keeping you independent and on the move.
Your mobility matters to us, which is why we service all mobility equipment whether purchased from one of our stores or elsewhere. Our technicians are trained and certified to work with all major brands. We start by testing the charger—a common culprit—before conducting a full diagnosis of your battery. With our strong partnerships with leading manufacturers, we often leverage warranties to reduce repair and replacement costs. If you can’t make it to our store, we can make it to you with our fully stocked showroom vans for same-day on-site repairs.
Some complex repairs may take longer than a day or require specialized equipment and parts. We understand that your mobility equipment is your lifeline and downtime is not an option. Therefore, we offer short-term rentals that include delivery, setup, and training. Whether repairs are made on-site or off, we always fully clean your equipment before returning it to you. Our experts provide the dependable service you deserve, helping extend your equipment’s lifespan and overall performance. We are also proud partners with the VA, ensuring Veterans receive the mobility solutions they deserve.

We rented a power recliner! They were courteous and gave us a veteran’s discount! Very fair pricing too! When we had an issue with the chair they were expedient in sending a great man, Miguel, to fix it! It had. It had come unplugged from under the chair! But they were ready with a different chair just in case! It was comfortable per my wheelchair bound husband! It even laid out the whole way for a nap as it had two separate motors! I would highly recommend this company!!!
Miguel and his staff were extremely helpful throughout, delivered the hospital bed my husband needed right away and were very flexible with pick-up date/time once we were ready to return it. The equipment was clean and in good shape. Overall, nothing but a 100% positive experience.
We contacted Mobility City prior to our vacation to rent some mobility equipment for my husband. They had exactly what we needed, delivered everything promptly. The staff were very helpful & courteous. Thanks to Steve for wrangling the 2 chairs we rented into the elevator & getting them set up where they were needed. We will definitely be calling you for rentals if we make it down to Fort Myers Beach again.
